The label, without the spin

What is inside a JellyTide gummy

JellyTide contains three actives: apple cider vinegar, BHB ketone salts, and the calcium, magnesium and sodium those salts are bound to. The manufacturer does not publish a milligram amount for any of them. That is the single most important fact on this page, so it is at the top rather than buried under the benefits.

Transparency score: 4 out of 10. The ingredients are named, the format is honest, the facility is declared and the allergen status is clear. What is missing is the amounts, and without amounts nobody, including us, can compare this formula to a published study. If a fully disclosed label is your requirement, this is not your product and we would rather you knew that before checkout than after.

The ingredient table

IngredientPublished amountRole in the formula
Apple cider vinegarNot publishedAcetic acid source. Studied mostly for gastric emptying and post-meal glucose response.
Beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB)Not publishedExogenous ketone body. Raises circulating ketones for a few hours after a dose.
Calcium (as calcium BHB)Not publishedMineral carrier for the ketone salt. Calcium also supports normal muscle and nerve function.
Magnesium (as magnesium BHB)Not publishedSecond mineral carrier. Magnesium is commonly depleted when carbohydrate intake drops sharply.
Sodium (as sodium BHB)Not publishedThird carrier. Sodium and water are the first things lost on a low-carbohydrate pattern.
Gummy baseNot publishedPectin-style chewable base with natural flavour and colour. Gluten free, dairy free, non-GMO.

One gummy per serving, 30 gummies per bottle. Amounts marked as not published are absent from the manufacturer's material; we will print them the day they appear.

Apple cider vinegar

The working part of any vinegar is acetic acid, typically around five per cent of the liquid. In human work it is associated with slower gastric emptying and a gentler post-meal glucose curve, with the usual caveats about small sample sizes and short follow-up [1]. In a gummy the vinegar is dried and carried on a base, which trades the harshness of the liquid for an unknown reduction in delivered acetic acid. That trade is why the missing milligram figure matters more here than it would in a capsule.

What the gummy format does buy is enamel safety and adherence. Sipping vinegar daily is rough on teeth and most people stop. Chewing something pleasant thirty minutes before a meal is a habit that survives a busy week, and a mediocre dose taken for ninety days beats a textbook dose abandoned on day five.

BHB and the three minerals

Beta-hydroxybutyrate arrives bound to calcium, magnesium and sodium, which is the standard construction for exogenous ketones. Each mineral is doing two jobs at once: stabilising the ketone for the shelf and replacing something the body sheds when carbohydrate drops. Calcium and magnesium have well-mapped roles in muscle contraction, nerve signalling and energy metabolism that the national dietary supplement office documents in detail [2][3]. Sodium is the one people underestimate; the headache and flatness of the first low-carbohydrate week is usually salt and water, not willpower.

Because the split between the three salts is not disclosed, we cannot tell you how much magnesium a gummy delivers, which also means we cannot tell you whether it is meaningful against a daily requirement. Assume it is a carrier amount rather than a supplemental one and take your minerals from food.

What is not in it

  • No caffeine, synephrine, yohimbine or any other stimulant.
  • No gluten and no dairy.
  • No genetically modified ingredients, per the manufacturer's declaration.
  • No prescription pharmaceutical of any kind, and nothing that requires a prescription to buy.

How to take it

One gummy per day, roughly thirty minutes before your morning or afternoon meal, with a full glass of water. Chew it properly rather than swallowing it whole. Pick a meal you eat at a consistent time, because the timing is the part that actually needs to be habitual. Do not double up on a missed day; the formula is not built for a loading approach and there is no published amount to justify one.

Who should not take it

Anyone under 18, anyone pregnant or nursing, and anyone taking medication for diabetes, blood pressure or a heart rhythm problem should speak to their own clinician before starting. That last group matters more than the boilerplate suggests: ingredients that affect post-meal glucose can stack with glucose-lowering medication, and ketone salts add sodium. The regulator's consumer material on supplements makes the same point about interactions in more general terms [5][6].

Storage and shelf life

Keep the bottle closed, out of direct sun, somewhere below 25 degrees Celsius. Gummies soften and stick in heat, which is cosmetic rather than a safety problem, but a car dashboard in July will ruin a bottle. The best-by date is printed beside lot JT-26W-0834 on the base.
