Review panel and editorial process
Who checks what we publish
Three external reviewers read the editorial pages on this portal before they go live and again whenever the
manufacturer changes the offer or the label. They are paid a flat annual fee, they hold no equity in Bellweather Provisions, their fee
does not move with sales, and any of them can block a claim.
PRPriya Raghunathan, RDN
Registered dietitian nutritionist
Fifteen years in outpatient weight management, most of it in a hospital clinic in the Pacific Northwest. She reviews every editorial page on this portal for claim accuracy and is the reason the word detoxify does not appear on it.
MBMarcus Boateng, PharmD
Community pharmacist
Twenty-two years behind a dispensing counter. He reviews the interaction and contraindication language, and pushed for the explicit warning about glucose-lowering medication on the ingredients page.
HLHana Lindqvist, MSc
Food scientist, gummy and softgel formats
Formulation background in confectionery-based supplement delivery. She writes the sections on why a gummy carries less active material than a capsule, and she is the harshest internal critic of this product's undisclosed amounts.
How the disclosure works
Each reviewer is engaged on a flat annual retainer agreed in advance. None of them receives commission, none holds shares or
options, and none is compensated for a favourable read. Their veto is real and it has been used: the phrase about detoxifying
the body, which appears on the manufacturer's own funnel, was struck from every page here at the review stage, and the
transparency score on the ingredients page exists because Hana Lindqvist refused to sign off a formula page that did not
acknowledge the missing amounts.
The four-step editorial process
1Draft from primary material
Every factual line starts from the manufacturer's published material, the batch record, or a public reference source we
can link. Nothing is written from memory or from a competitor's page.
2Claim audit
Each sentence that makes a claim is marked and checked against the compliance line for dietary supplements: support and
promote, never treat or cure. Claims that cannot be softened are cut rather than reworded.
3External review
The panel reads the page. Disagreements are resolved in favour of the more conservative wording, which is why several
pages here read less enthusiastically than the funnel that sells the same product.
4Dated publication and re-review
Pages carry a last-reviewed date. Editorial pages are re-read on a six-month cycle, and immediately whenever the price,
the pack structure or the guarantee changes.
Corrections policy
If we publish something wrong we change it and we say what changed. Material corrections, meaning anything touching price,
dosing, safety or the guarantee, are noted in the page text for thirty days after the change. Typographical fixes are made
silently. Write to [email protected] with the page and the problem and you will get an answer from a person, usually the same day.
Two known limitations we would rather state than have you discover. First, our reviewers are engaged by us, which means their
independence is structural rather than absolute. Second, the review data on the reviews page comes from
our own order system, so it is verifiable but not third-party audited.
